Scorpions, like Spiders are arachnids and have eight legs. They are ground hunting insects that can become a dangerous pest, if they are able to locate a reliable food source within your home or premises.

They are usually found in dark places such as kitchen cabinets, garages or in bathrooms - this makes them difficult to detect and treat.

While scorpions are not neccesarily deadly, they can leave a nasty sting which can cause soreness and swelling. Severe reactions to a scorpion sting can cause vomitting - although this is normally appaent in the elderly and young people.
